My name is Kyle MacDonald, and I am a graphic designer based in the greater Boston area. I have been studying graphic design since 2017, starting with my vocational education at South Shore Vocational Technical School, majoring in Design & Visual Communications. After continuing to pursue design in college, I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design from Curry College in Milton, MA.
My preferred design areas include branding, print, digital, and editorial/layout. I enjoy creating brand assets and collateral, posters, advertisements, social media and web graphics, publications, and motion graphics. I often work with typography, imagery, color, data, and composition to create for a brand or to visualize a story.
I have completed a few different graphic design positions since the start of my career, including interning at a print shop, a non-profit, and a college marketing office. The tasks I did in these positions ranged from making brand assets to production work to communicating and meeting with clients.
My graphic design work has been featured in numerous art exhibitions and I have had the opportunity to design a photo book published by celebrity photographer Roger Farrington, Celebrities in Boston 1976-1996.
